RG Digital RN

The RG Digital app is provided by the Institute of Technical and Scientific Expertise (ITEP/RN) and the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Norte (RN). It allows citizens to carry an authentic version of their Identity Card (RG) on their mobile device, providing convenience and security for the residents of RN.

To enable it:

1. Open the RG Digital app
2. Scan the QR Code printed on the back of your RG using your mobile phone camera
3. Validate your biometric data

Important:

• Only biometric RGs have the QR Code printed on the back
• To obtain a biometric RG, schedule your appointment through the website agendamento.itep.rn.gov.br
• Rio Grande do Norte State RGs are exclusively issued by the Institute of Technical and Scientific Expertise of Rio Grande do Norte (ITEP/RN)
• To request a physical copy of the RG duplicate, it is necessary to pay the issuance fee in advance
• The RG Digital is a secure document and valid throughout Brazil
